Oscar Rodríguez Lasseria
(b. Florida, Camagüey, 1950)
Oscar Rodríguez Lasseria graduated from the Provincial School of Art in Camagüey and the National School for Art Instructors in Havana. He is also a graduate of the Interamerican Academy of Drawing and Painting in the United States, and the Superior Pedagogic Institute in Camagüey. He is a member of the National Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC), and the UNESCO International Association of Art (IAA). His solo exhibitions include Números Mayas (Mayan Numbers) at Art Ung Gallerie in Paris, France, 2009; Amor, Amor (Love, Love) at Reinaldo Miranda Gallery in Camagüey, 2008; and Pequeñas cosas (Little Things) at the Association of Artisan Artists in Camagüey, 2006.
