Stainless is a group founded in 2010 by artists Alejandro Piñeiro, José Capaz, and Roberto Fabelo Hung. The three graduated from the San Alejandro School of Visual Arts in Havana in 2010. Their solo exhibitions include Una mente caótica (A Chaotic Mind) at The Studios of Key West, Florida, in 2015; One of a Kind at The 8th Floor in New York in 2014; and Stainless at the Hispano-American Cultural Center in Havana, in 2011. They have participated in multiple group shows, including the second edition of Detrás del muro (Behind the Wall) at the Malecón in Havana, during the 12th Havana Biennial, 2015; Una raza (One Race) at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, 2014; Art Attach at Galiano Gallery in Havana, 2014; Sex in the City at La Acacia Gallery in Havana, 2013; and Gulliver 1 at the Freize Museum in Berlin, Germany, 2012. Their works are part of the collections of the Brownstone Foundation in Paris, France, and the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California, as well as several private collections.
